A perfect day at DOWNTOWN DISNEY!

Sean and I enjoyed a really nice day in Downtown Disney at Disneyland in Anaheim, California. And what I realized is that you don't have to be a Disney geek to enjoy a nice stroll through the little town of Disney shops and sweet treats.
When we arrived, it looked like the place was PACKED! The parking lot was full and the entrance was hard to find. But once we got our bearings straight, we started our self-guided tour of Downtown Disney.
The sweet treat shops are hard to miss....you can smell the melting chocolate and warm marshmallows at every corner. There are a few restaurants along the way too. But mostly- these little pathways are filled with Disney shops of your heart's desire. You can find ANYTHING Disney here. People are smiling from ear to ear- or should I say, from their Mickey's ear to ear!! And even though the parking lot was full, Downtown Disney did not feel overwhelming with people or too crowded.
I admitted on our post that I'm not a huge Disney fan. And I'm still not. But that didn't stop me from having a really enjoyable time in Downtown Disney. I forgot to mention that we saw some ladies doing their exercise through town. And other people were lazily walking their dogs and drinking their coffee. So, downtown Disney is certainly not just for Disney lovers!
